In order to register and purchase your Correos Prepaid card or account, you will need to have one of the following documents:
- Spanish ID
- European DNI
- Foreigner's Identity Card (TIE)
- Passport
If you do not have Spanish nationality and do not have a TIE (NIE with photo), you must carry out the registration process with a passport or with a European DNI if you are an EU citizen.
If you do it with a passport or European ID card and wish to take out an IBAN, we inform you that, in accordance with the internal policy of Bnext Electronic Issuer E.D.E., S.L., as a payment service provider of the Correos Prepago program and in accordance with our Customer Admission Policy, we need you to prove your residence in Spain.

We would like to remind you that neither the international protection certificate, nor the red asylum card, nor the register to prove your residence are accepted.
In addition to proving your residence in Spain and in accordance with our Client Admission Policy, you must provide us with the necessary information about the origin of your funds, occupation and sector of activity. If you have not provided it at the time of registration, you will be required to do so.
